摘要：A method for continuously impregnating a substrate with a conductive polymer,wherein a substrate moving along a path undergoes at least one processing cycle whichcomprises the steps of (a) passing the substrate (2) through an aqueous acidic solution (6)of at least one oxidatively polymerizable soluble liquid monomer selected from anilineand derivatives thereof; (b) drying (8) the impregnated substrate; (c) passing the dryimpregnated substrate through an oxidizing solution containing a polymer doping agent,said solution containing a fast-acting stable oxidizing agent with a redox potential of over1 volt relative to a reference hydrogen electrode (10); (d) allowing the reaction toproceed until the monomer has been completely oxidized; (e) passing said conductivepolymer impregnated substrate through an acidic washing solution (12); and (f) drying(14) the washed and polymer-impregnated substrate.
