摘要：A multibeam FM radar system has an FM radar module for transmitting beamsof FM signals whose frequencies linearly vary in rising and falling periods, in respectivedifferent directions with adjacent ones of the beams overlapping each other, receivingecho signals, and mixing the FM signals and the echo signals into beat signals. Themultibeam FM radar system also has a main radar circuit including a central processingunit for producing pairs of frequencies of the beat signals in the rising and falling periodswith respect to the beams, and processing the pairs of the frequencies to detectdistances up to and/or relative speeds with respect to objects which have produced theecho signals, while reflecting a detected result with respect each of the beams in adetected result with respect an adjacent one of the beams.
