摘要：1. Process for the coating of a porous electrode for electrochemical processeswith an activating layer containing metals and compounds of metals of the platinumgroup, covering at least partially the electrode surface, in which soluble compounds ofone or several platinum metals together with soluble compounds of one or severalmetals from the group titanium, tantalum, zirconium, niobium and a solvent are appliedto the surface of the electrode and subjected to a thermal treatment, characterised inthat a 4-valent chloride of a metal from the group Ti, Ta, Zr, Nb is dissolved in aninsufficient amount of alcohol for complete conversion of the chloride to hydrogenchloride and a metal chloroalcoholate complex compound is formed, the complexcompound is stirred in portions into the alcoholic solution of a chloride of a platinummetal, the solution, with a viscosity of 0.01 to 0.1 Pa.s is applied to the upper surface ofthe electrode, the solvent is evaporated off and an activating layer is formed by heatingto a temperature of 250 to 600 C.
