Diana comes from a noble family, but she is just like a girl next door, the public call her the people’s princess ; princess Kate comes from a middle class family, whose parents run a toys company. They are all with great affinity, which in some extend narrow the gap between the royal and the common people of English.
It seems that Kate is going to take the same way with her mother-in-law---Diana. She is reported to survey the conditions of some orphanages and nursing homes. She is planed to set feet in the career of charity.
Conclusion
Diana’s life is kind of legend. She failed in marriage, but won the love and esteem of the British people. She divorced with Prince Charles; yet, she remained to be the princess in British people’s heart for her life. Having contributed greatly in the charity careers by using her influence, she is the British rose. However, her story indicates people’s dissatisfaction towards the loyal family’s cold and rigid image which they turned to the British people. Diana’s figure of being close to the people and full of love matches with people’s expectation about the princess.
