摘要：A transfer finger for feeding small workpieces is pivotally mounted at theforward end of a rod which is adapted to be advanced and retracted by a reciprocatingpneumatic actuator. During the initial portions of the advance and retract strokes of theactuator, one or more radially contractible collects frictionally grip the rod and preventthe rod from advancing and retracting the finger until such time as the actuator haspivoted the finger between active and inactive positions.
