一、活动的意义、目标
1、我校紧临东湖,并将东湖文化资源作为校本课程开发的一项重要内容。“创新素质实践行——走进东湖”的系列社会实践活动,有助于学生对东湖的人文与自然景观有系统的认识,培养学生热爱武汉,热爱东湖,宣传武汉,宣传东湖的情感。
2、在此兴趣活动中,学生模拟东湖旅游活动情景必须用英语将自己要说的话表达出来,借以培养学生综合运用英语知识向中外游客介绍东湖时人际交往的英语口语表达能力。
3、本项实践活动以模拟的形式创设东湖旅游情景,因此活动中将以导游、游客、东湖工作人员等不同角色分组,在模拟实践情节中,用英语表达自己的所感所想,促进学生多方面素质的发展。
4、本专题活动为模拟性,为下一步走进东湖景区的实践活动作适应性的基本能力训练。

二、活动内容与要求
1、学生利用学校组织的社会实践日及日常休息时间进行实地考察。首先选取自己感兴趣的风景名胜,然后通过自己的观察,通过咨询旁人,通过上网和资料的查阅,初步确立自己的实践课题(主要以说明接受为主,可涉及自然景观、人文历史、纪念意义等几个方面),将收集到的资料整理好,并将其变成旅游实用英语表达出来。可以借助字典,咨询老师或上网等方式将其完善,所形成的短文,英语表达正确,介绍性强。
2、成立学生实践活动课题组,明确活动要求及责任分工 1)由于是以模拟情节为主,因此要分几个课题小组:导游组、游客组、景区工作人员组。成立课题组后,各组成员制定活动计划,明确分工。
a.导游组:先收集好景区旅游用语,拟出富有典型性,描写介绍较全面的文字。(设六个景点,每个景点一个导游,另设一个全程导游)商讨并创设出吸引人的介绍方式,模仿导游人员的语气,用英语(尽量用通俗易懂的词句)练习惯用表达。
b.游客组:可由10多个同学组成,以外国游客为主体角色,以不同形式参加东湖景区旅游活动,(如朋友结伴出游,家人结伴出游或单独出游等)。可在课下自己设计对话形式内容,还可以参考有关资料,商讨好在参观时提出的关于东湖景区中的问题。如,游览路线、主要景点、景观文化,以及怎样和景区工作人员对话、旅游购物时商品选择等。

c.工作人员组:这个组可以分成两大块。一块为东湖工作人员,包括售票、验票、环保人员、安全人员及司机;另一块则为东湖内兜售小物品的商贩以及生活服务人员。这一组同学则讨论如何向外国游客介绍商品,如何文明、诚信经商。还可以适当创造些“小插曲”,如何招揽生意,如何保护景区卫生环境,如何用英语表达等等,要求情景创设及英语表达协调一致。
2)模拟实践时要有协调性,可组与组之间互相讨论。景点介绍应全面丰富,导游口语流利有感情,游客和谐性好,工作人员态度逼真,整个活动要体现出英语交流的氛围,以英语小品短剧的形式开展,英语表达自然、流利、正确。
3、本项活动创设的旅游情景英语会话常用语,及活动情景创设详见本案附录一、附录二。
三、实践活动准备
1、可以分组准备些旅游图、警示牌、票据以及服装、旅游帽、喇叭、话筒等道具。
2、收集东湖景区游览的有关资料:
a. 东湖景区人文景观简介;游览路线说明; b.东湖景区游览规则;环保知识;
c.东湖景区导游人员、管理与服务人员及游客的文明用语。 3、编写模拟性、分角色对话的旅游情景创设方案。
四、实践活动形式、方法
实践活动的管理上由班级统一管理,班主任及指导教师具体负

责。在实践活动的地点、时间安排上,实行以课题小组为单位运行的模式。
五、实践活动时间安排与实践活动步骤
本项专题活动共安排9课时:
第1课时,成立课题小组,制定活动计划。
第2-3课时,到东湖风景区进行实地考察,收集景点资料及东湖景区的旅游知识。
第4课时,整理资料,编写英语表达短文,教师指导学生审稿。 第5课时,准备道具、分组设置演练英语表达的合理情景,力求脱稿介绍。
第6课时,各小组共同合作,校内模拟演练东湖景区旅游英语对话。
第7-8课时,走进东湖风景区,实地进行东湖旅游情景英语会话。 第9课时,分组进行本项实践活动评价。
六、总结及评价
1、利用一课时时间让学生总结这次活动的收获、意义及不足之处,制定改进措施。
2、学生以小组为单位,先进行自我评价,然后在组长的带领下进行小组评价,最后将评价成绩交指导教师。整个评价采取等级制与 记述性评价相结合的方式。

异国风情园占地30余亩,园内建有哥伦布战船、大风车等以欧洲名城和著名建筑物命名的风格各异的集休闲、娱乐、观赏为一体的景观20余幢。园内的花卉植物和灯柱、雕塑和曲径小道均造型别致,到此一游,饱赏异国情调。

2、沙滩浴场
建于湖心岛处的沙滩浴场是用从福建海滩采购的天然海沙铺成的内陆最大的沙滩浴场,总面积8万平方米,其中沙滩区14000余平方米,游泳戏水区37000平方米,建有2000平方米服务用房,功能齐全,湖中建有古代帆船、情人岛、礁石、美人鱼雕塑等景点,配

Look! The Sand Beach is in the middle of the lake. It’s the largest sand beach inland. It covers over 80 thousand square meters, including beach areas, swimming areas and restroom. 3、鲁迅广场
鲁迅(公元一八八一 ——一九三六年),为了纪念这位文化巨人,在长天楼左侧辟有鲁迅广场,建有鲁迅半身座像,鲁迅座像后环植一排苍松翠柏,座像前有花坛一个,种植着各种花卉。游览此景,有一种肃穆、崇敬的感觉。 听涛区西北岸游览区北边的鲁迅广场和南边的行吟阁遥相呼应,这样的纪念胜地,为东湖增色生辉。
Now the sculpture you see is one of the greatest writer in China----LuXun. Born in 1881, he wrote many famous books and he helped Chinese people to save their own country. People even built LuXun Square in memory of this great writer. It’s opposite to XinYin Pavilion, making it more beautiful.
4、九女墩
1856年太平军中九位女英雄与清军激战中牺牲于东湖岸边,当地群众把她们合葬于此,为避清军破坏,故避称墓而名“墩”,名为“九女墩”。1952年,武汉市人民政府在此建墓立碑,碑为花岗石砌

成,高8余米,顶端悬挂着6个铜铃,风吹铃响,犹似烈士英灵奔驰战场金戈铁马的激战声。
It’s another place of history. It’s special because the graves were built to remember 9 heroines. The fought for the right of farmers and they lost their lives in the battle. How great they are! 建于半岛长丘之上,翠竹、苍松环绕。临湖石砌的护坡上,嵌有东坡居士写的“松坡”二字。长风吹来,松涛声与浪涛声相唱和,使人觉得仿佛置身于海滨,颇有“疑海听涛”之感。
Look at the pavilion on the hill. There are green bamboo and pine trees around it. “Song Po” was written on the hillside by SuDong po, who was a great poet in ancient China. 6、荷花研究中心
荷花是中国最有名的水生花卉之一。它有着很长的历史。它享有“出淤泥而不染”的美称。历史上也有很多名人爱荷花,他们也都给了它很多的称赞。东湖的荷花以品种齐全、独特而著称世界。当你踏 上荷花园,你就仿佛进了一个明亮而美丽的新世界。
Lotus is one of the most famous water flowers in China and has

long planting history. It comes out from the dirty but keep clean. People have showed their love to it long ago. The lotus in East Lake is famous in the world because there are many special kinds. When you step into the Lotus Garden, you may feel that you are just stepping into a bright and beautiful world.

情景一:关爱之心暖人心
在去东湖的路上的旅游车上,大家满怀憧憬的往下一个目标前进。在这时,突然有一位游客(TouristA)感觉不舒服,头晕得厉害,脸色发白„„
TouristB: What’s wrong with you? Don’t you feel well? TouristA: It doesn’t matter. Thank you! (TouristA grips his lips and moans.) TouristB: What happened to on earth you?
TouristA: I have a headache. I may be a little carsick.(He closes his eyes closely and looks sad.) TouristC: Would you like to have some water? TouristD: I have some snacks, would you like some? TouristA: Oh, no, thanks. I don’t want to eat anything.

Student: Is this box yours?
Tourist: Oh, yes. What’s the matter?
Student(Picks up the box): Is it useless? Could I help you put it into the dustbin over there?
Tourist(Looks embarrassing): Oh, I’m so sorry! I make a mistake.
