Long time ago, I learned about this book, which called The Call of Wild. But I had no chance to read it carefully. Recently, I have finally finished it. It’s so moving and vivid!
This famous book was written by Jack London, an American writer. It mainly told about a dog who had ever lived in a modern city how to survived that hard condition after being sold. The brave dog called Buck. Buck was a lovely dog. Somebody took him from his master house to sell to the north America where was very cold and far away from big city. In order to survive, Buck had to fight with the bad circumstance. During the way , the maid of Buck had changed several times. But later, Buck met a kind master who called John Thornto. He took good care of Buck, and Buck loved him .Unfortunately, he was killed by wild men who lived in the north America. Buck felt desperate about human beings. Finally he lived with the wolves, even later became the leader of the wolves. \" He sings a song of the younger world, which is the song of the pack.\" When the last sentence vanished from my eyes, I can still perceive an echo of a song - a wild song, which knocks up my dizzy mind that always cheerfully sink into the so-called civilized world without questioning. Wild, is no longer a symbol of the law of jungle but a headspring where streams out love, passion, bravery, loyalty, friendship, venture,
competition and tolerance all these virtues can easily be found in the Call of the Wild.
This book was attractive! In one hand, it reacted the ugly and greedy of human. In my mind, the animals were pure. They would believe in you as long as you treat them kindly. They knew how to repay the one who took care of them or did good deeds for them. Compared with the animals, human should feel shameful. Love ,money, in order to get own benefits, people always hurt others’ benefits ,even lives! We are always saying “However, human is the most cruel animal all over the world!”
Nowadays, our society encourage “repay”. We should learn how to repay our parents for giving us lives; we should repay our country for giving us varies of chances and challenges. Maybe we will meet many trouble , but we should be brave like Buck!
In other hand, this book proved the law of jungle. In the world of dog, no law, have the ability is everything, so the dog fight against the chief seat, as is often the case, however, in the dogs of war took a harem master, although is heavy, but with the strength to time we also see that Buck and Spitz for Buck, often out some counsel, so, even though Buck strength and damage and not top Spitz, but he still when the dog, the leader of the group and as a failure of Spitz, die on under the hand of the Buck. The call of the wild is a very good book, not like a fairy tale that lovely lively, sometimes even let a person feel the terrorist, in fact this is not its shortcomings, but its advantages. Everybody has a point, as the silver of the wild dog, or rather the Wolf.
