摘要：Compounds useful in the treatment of cholesterolaemia are of the generalformula (I) or salts thereof in which R1 and R2 independently denote radicals includinghydrogen, alkyl, aryl and heterocyclic radical or together complete a carbocyclic orheterocylic ring, R3 denotes a radical in which R9, R10 and R11 include hydrogen, cyano,nitro, alkyl and aryl or, in pairs, complete carbocyclic rings, X denotes cyano, nitro orsubstituted carbonyl, sulphonyl or phosphonyl group, R4 is hydrogen or a radical definedfor R1 or R3, and R5, R6, R7 and R8 include hydrogen, nitro, cyano, carboxyl, alkyl and arylor, in pairs, complete carbocyclic rings, with the proviso that R1 and R9 are not bothphenyl if X denotes CO-C6H6. The compounds exhibit considerably higherhypocholesterolaemic activity than the known clofibrate and in addition exhibit apronounced nutritive effect, e.g., in a medicated fodder or premix.
