The environment is better There are tall and handsome trees

everywhere on both sides of the road They are like soldiers defending the frontier and policemen directing traffic order.

Life has also changed.The stinking trash can used to be cleaner and fresher Public toilets are not as smelly and dirty as before.There are

slogans about hygiene posted inside,and sometimes there are several bright roses! The air looks fresher .Plastic bags,the white pollutants that used to be seen everywhere on the road have disappeared.

我的家乡坐落在一个美丽的城市。近年来，十堰已变成了一个全方位信息化

的城市，有着翻天覆地的变化。

这几年，十堰的农村都变成了新农村村村通公路，盖新房。农民种地的收

成也好了，家家户户都过上了好日子。

环境也好了。公路两旁处处都是高大挺秀的树木，它们像一个个保卫边疆的战士，又像一个个指挥交通秩序的警察。

卫生也有所改变。以前臭哄哄的垃圾桶变的更加干净清新了。公共厕所也不

像以往那样的臭，那样的不干净了，里面张贴着讲卫生的标语，有时还放着几朵

鲜艳的玫瑰花呢!显得空气更加清新。马路上以往随处所见的白色污染物--

塑料袋，也不见了。
