摘要:In a magnetic recording medium, at least first, second and third magnetic layersare laminated in succession, and when the magnetic wall energy density, saturationmagnetization, magnetic wall coercivity and film thickness of the first magnetic layer at atemperature T represented by cgs unit system are defined as σ1, Ms1, Hw1 and h1,respectively, and the magnetic wall energy density, saturation magnetization, magneticwall coercivity and film thickness of the third magnetic layer are defined as σ3, Ms3, Hw3and h3, respectively, and the interface magnetic wall energy density between the firstmagnetic layer and the third magnetic layer is defined as σw13, and the lowest

temperature at which σw13 is 0 erg/cm2 is Ts,    at least at room temperature,2Ms1 ∗Hw1 < σw13/h1 and2Ms3 ∗ Hw3 > σw13/h3 are satisfied, and    when a suitabletemperature Tp is chosen, to a temperature range greater than the temperature Ts andlower by 10°C or more than the Curie temperature Tc1 of the first magnetic layer,    within a temperature range of at least Ts to Tp,k1(T) < k3(T) and are satisfied,    wherek1(T) = (2Ms1 ∗ Hw1 + σw13/h1)/|dσ1/dT|k3(T) = (2Ms3 ∗ Hw3 -σw13/h3)/|dσ3/dT|.
