Q100 qualification data available onrequest.description/ordering informationThis device consists of two independent, high-gain, frequency-compensated operational amplifiers designedto operate from a single supply over a wide range of voltages. Operation from split supplies is possible as longas the difference between the two supplies is 3 V to 26 V (3 V to 32 V for V-suffix devices), and VCC is at least1.5 V more positive than the input common-mode voltage. The low supply-current drain is independent of themagnitude of the supply voltage.Applications include transducer amplifiers, dc amplification blocks, and all the conventional operationalamplifier circuits that now can be implemented more easily in single-supply-voltage systems. For example, these devices can be operated directly from the standard 5-V supply used in digital systems and easily providethe required interface electronics without additional ±5-V supplies. The LM2904Q is manufactured to demanding automotive requirements.ORDERING INFORMATIONTAVIOmaxAT 25°C7 mV7 mV−40°C to 125°C7 mV7 mV2 mV2 mVMAX VCC26 V26 V32 V32 V32 V32 VSOIC (D)TSSOP (PW)SOIC (D)TSSOP (PW)SOIC (D)TSSOP (PW)PACKAGE‡Tape and reelTape and reelTape and reelTape and reelTape and reelTape and reelORDERABLEPART NUMBERLM2904QDRQ1LM2904QPWRQ1LM2904VQDRQ1LM2904VQPWRQ1LM2904AVQDRQ1LM2904AVQPWRQ1TOP-SIDEMARKING2904Q12904Q12904VQ12904VQ12904AVQ2904AVQ‡Package drawings, standard packing quantities, thermal data, symbolization, and PCB design guidelines are available atwww.ti.com/sc/package.Please be aware that an important notice concerning availability, standard warranty, and use in critical applications ofTexasInstruments semiconductor products and disclaimers thereto appears at the end of this data sheet.PRODUCTION DATA information is current as of publication date.Products conform to specifications per the terms of Texas Instrumentsstandard warranty. These are stress ratings only, andfunctional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those indicated under “recommended operating conditions” is notimplied. Exposure to absolute-maximum-rated conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability.NOTES:1.All voltage values, except differential voltages and VCC specified for measurement of IOS, are with respect to the network groundterminal.2.Differential voltages are at IN+ with respect to IN−.3.Short circuits from outputs to VCC can cause excessive heating and eventual destruction.4.Maximum power dissipation is a function of TJ(max), θJA, and TA. The maximum allowable power dissipation at any allowableambient temperature is PD = (TJ(max) − TA)/θJA. Operating at the absolute maximum TJ of 150°C can affect reliability.5.The package thermal impedance is calculated in accordance with JESD 51-7.POST OFFICE BOX 655303 DALLAS, TEXAS 75265•3LM2904ĆQ1DUAL OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIERSLOS414E − MAY 2003 − REVISED JUNE 2004electrical characteristics at specified free-air temperature, VCC = 5 V (unless otherwise noted)PARAMETERTEST CONDITIONS†VCC = 5 V toMAX,VIC = VICR(min),VO = 1.4 VNon-A devicesA-suffix devicesTA‡25°CFull range25°CFull rangeFull rangeNon-V devicesIIOInput offset currentVO = 1.4 VV-suffix devicesaIAverage temperature coefficient ofinput offset currentInput bias currentDriftVO = 1.4 V25°CFull range25°CFull rangeFull range25°CFull rangeFull range25°CVICRCommon-mode input voltage rangeVCC = 5 V to MAXFull rangeRL ≥ 10 kΩVOHHigh-level output voltageVCC = MAX,Non-V devicesVCC = MAX,V-suffix devicesVOLAVDCMRRkSVRVO1/VO2Low-level output voltageLarge-signal differentialvoltage amplificationCommon-mode rejection ratioSupply-voltage rejection ratio(∆VDD/∆VIO)Crosstalk attenuationRL ≤ 10 kΩVCC = 15 V, VO = 1 V to 11 V,RL = ≥2 kΩVCC = 5 V to MAX,VIC = VICR(min)VCC = 5 V to MAXf = 1 kHz to 20 kHzVCC = 15 V, VID = 1 V, VO = 0IOOutput currentVCC = 15 V, VID = −1 V, VO = 15 VVID = −1 V,VO = 200 mVVCC at 5 V, GND at −5 V, VO = 0VO = 2.5 V,No loadVCC = MAX, VO = 0.5 VCC, No loadRL = 2 kΩRL ≥ 10 kΩRL = 2 kΩRL ≥ 10 kΩ25°CFull rangeFull rangeFull range25°CFull range25°C25°C25°C25°CFull range25°CFull range25°C25°CFull range−20−101051240±400.71±601.22µAmAmA202515656580100120−30mA0 toVCC−1.50 toVCC−2VCC−1.52223262728510020mVV/mVdBdBdB24V5010−20−250−5005725030050150pA/°CnApA/°CnA1MINTYP§3MAX71024µV/°CmVUNITVIOInput offset voltageaVIOAverage temperature coefficient ofinput offset voltageIOIIBIBVIOSICCShort-circuit output currentSupply current (two amplifiers)†All characteristics are measured under open-loop conditions, with zero common-mode input voltage, unless otherwise specified.
