摘要：An apparatus for measuring the flow rate of an intake air flowing through an airpassage which communicates with an internal combustion engine is disclosed. Theapparatus includes a heat-generating resistor element disposed in the air passage fordetecting the flow rate of the intake air in the air passage, and at least one protectivemember disposed on upstream and/or downstream side(s) of the heat-generatingresistor element as viewed in an air flow direction in which the intake air flows throughthe air passage, so as to extend in a direction perpendicular to the air flow direction. Theprotective member(s) is/are formed of a water-absorptive porous material, and have aplurality of holes formed through the thickness thereof in the air flow direction.
