摘要：A method of manufacturing a water-repellent, fluffy lightweight batt of woodpulp fibers comprising applying a water- repellent material to a surface of a dry woodpulp board so that the water-repellent penetrates through only a portion of the board.The treated board is ground to individualize the fibers, and the ground fibers arecollected in a batt with the water-repellent treated fibers distributed uniformlythroughout to produce a fluffy, water-repellent batt of wood pulp fibers.
