摘要：Described here are devices, methods, and kits for acupuncture or acupressuretherapy. The devices may include a tissue-piercing member and a reservoir containing anagent. The devices and agents may be packaged as kits useful for relieving pain and/ortreating various medical conditions. One example device comprises an acupunctureneedle (204) which may be solid or have one or more lumens with a coating. The needlemay be connected to a syringe pump which may be programmable. Other devices tha tmay be used to deliver the agent alone or in combination with a tissue-piercing memberinclude an implantable reservoir, an external reservoir, or a patch.
