摘要：The present invention refers to a method for treatment of an inflamma- toryand/or bacterial condition, wherein particles of microstructure comprising titanium,titanium alloy, at least one titanium oxide or a combination thereof, and having a surfacewith at least a substantial part consisting of at least one type of titanium oxide, arebrought into contact with at least one infected site in a human or animal body byinsertion, injection or implantation, which at least one infected site exhibits theinflammatory and/or bacterial condition. Moreover, the present invention refers to aninjectable suspension comprising the particles according to the invention and a fluidvehicle for use as a medicament. Finally, the present invention also defines use of theparticles of microstructure according to the invention for the manufacture of amedicament in the form of an injectable suspension. Examples of conditions beingtreated with the injectable suspension according to the present invention areperiodontitis, periimplantitis, and osteitis.
