摘要： The invention relates to a gastrostomy device (20), low-profile or plating at theskin, which is designed to be initially introduced endoscopically in an incision in thestomach (64) and the walls abdominal (62) of the patient and which comprises a foldedelastic end portion (24) packed and compressed in a casing (30), which allows the endportion (24) of the device (20) introduced into the stomach (61) easily move from theinner end toward the outer end of the incision. The envelope (30) is pulled or pushedoutwardly through the incision until the device (20) is correctly set up. After placement ofthe device, the casing (30) is removed and discarded, allowing the now outer terminalportion (24) of the device (20) to take its normal position, to come into contact with theouter surface of the abdominal wall (62), thereby maintaining the device (20) in place.With such a package (10) of the gastrostomy device and its associated placementprocess, it is no longer necessary to establish, as is usually the case, stoma fistulairechannel before placing a grastrostomie slimline device.
