摘要：Described herein are methods, systems, and apparatus for performing device-to-device (D2D) discovery in an unlicensed band. In one example, a method for wirelesscommunication is described that includes identifying a resource pool for D2D discovery in
an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band and selecting a set of resource blocks inthe identified resource pool. The method may also include performing a channeloccupancy check for the channel in the selected set of resource blocks. The methodfurther includes transmitting a D2D discovery message based at least in part on thechannel occupancy check, the D2D discovery message transmitted over the selected setof resource blocks in the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band.
